Lucia graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and has accumulated over 400 hours of clinical experience. She discovered her passion for one-on-one client work while completing her life coaching certification, finding deep fulfillment in supporting and guiding people on their healing journeys.
In her counselling practice, Lucia has worked with women across diverse life stages and cultural backgrounds, including clients with Métis and Indigenous heritage. She also has experience supporting individuals with brain injuries, clients in recovery, and those living with bipolar disorder. Her work focuses on empowering clients to enhance their quality of life while navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationships, communication, and self-esteem.
Lucia’s approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and strength-based. She believes in meeting clients where they are and fostering safety, authenticity, and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.
Currently, Lucia is completing training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) with plans to expand her work into couples counselling. She continues to deepen her education in trauma-informed care and the impact of challenging life experiences on emotional well-being.
Outside of her counselling practice, Lucia enjoys spending time with her family, taking long forest walks, painting, and gardening.
