Acupuncture
Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions. Treatment involves insertion of very fine sterile needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. Needles are inserted in points located on a network of pathways connected to the function of internal organs, with the goal of restoring and maintaining balance. It is also used to effectively treat injuries and help with pain management.
Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture is the practice of treating patients together in a larger room as opposed to a private setting. The community acupuncture model mirrors how acupuncture has been traditionally practiced. Many clinics across the country, including ours, are starting to adopt this model again because of its many benefits. We have transitioned to providing private rooms for community acupuncture as the space we have available has changed.
